Kevin Demar
Kevin Demar grew up in rural upstate New York as the youngest of four children. With a father who served as a firefighter and a mother who worked as a nurse, Kevin learned early the values of hard work, service, and commitment to others. He is proud to be the first in his family to become an attorney.
In 2013, Kevin moved to Tennessee to attend the University of the South, where he earned his B.A. in Economics with concentrations in business, finance, and politics. He graduated magna cum laude in 2017 before pursuing, and obtaining, his J.D. at the Nashville School of Law. From the beginning of his legal studies, Kevin was drawn to family law, recognizing the profound impact this work has on people’s lives.
Experience
Before joining Fort, Holloway & Saylor, Kevin served as the IV-D attorney for the State of Tennessee’s 21st and 32nd Judicial Districts, representing Williamson, Hickman, Lewis, and Perry Counties. In that role, he gained extensive courtroom experience and a deep understanding of child support and family-law matters, skills he now brings to every case he handles at the firm.
